A licensed Jungian psychologist and Marriage & Family Therapist in private practice at Moonlight Counseling in Encinitas, CA, Dr. Arthur Rosengarten is widely-recognized as an expert in tarot cards and the psychology of synchronicity and divination; he is author of Tarot And Psychology: Spectrums Of Possibility (2000, Paragon), as well as creator/designer of Tarot Of The Nine Paths: Advanced Tarot for the Spiritual Traveler (Second Edition,  Sept. 2009). Art received both Masters and Doctoral degrees at the California Institute Of Integral Studies in San Francisco and is deeply grounded in various nondual Buddhist/Taoist/Zen traditions, as well as Jungian, Existential,  and other contemporary approaches to psychotherapy.

Art wrote the first accredited doctoral dissertation on tarot cards, entitled: Accessing The Unconscious: A Comparative Study of Dreams, TAT, And Tarot (1985); The Tarot Research Project–A Study of Domestic Violence As Seen Through The Synchronistic Lens of Tarot Divination (1997) ( included in his main work), Tarot And Psychology: Spectrums of Possibility (Paragon, 2000), praised as: “… the third major book on Tarot from a Jungian perspective” by Robin Robertson, author of Jungian Archetypes.
